A location that I have frequented in Taranaki, is Lake Mangamahoe, a lake just outside New Plymouth.
To be there when there is no breeze for a mirror like view is very rare indeed.
On this particular morning I arrived before sunrise and captured many variations
of the scene as the morning light was changing.
This interpretation does not compare with the image that fell out of the camera at the time,
merely an artists impression. That said, I have altered very few pixels,
removing floating debris off the surface of the water mainly.
In Photoshop I work on luminosity, contrast, colour and saturation.
I guess I would have spent at least twenty hours on this image,
but that’s me.
