This takes me back. This is one of those roads off SH45, the surf highway. I was capturing
images one evening, the light was going fast, as it so often does.
The light had gone from the foreground and the final warmth was falling across
Mount Taranaki, the Pouakai Ranges, some areas in the paddocks and that lone tree.
The lines of the fence and the road leads straight into this scene,
the repeating angle of the tree, mountain and several fence posts, all tie in nicely together.
